After the Inside Passage cruise, I drove to Fairbanks. I stopped at Denali National Park since I had never seen it without snow. What a difference! I could see North America's tallest peak, Denali every day I was in area. That has never happened.This is actually the first time I have ever clearly seen Denali. It was so bright with the sun shining on it and the blue sky above. Driving down this gravel road I found myself mesmerized by the sight. August is a good time to see Alaska.
