When the aurora is active, you are imaging as fast as you can push the shutter. You never know what shapes you will see until you look at the images. I have imaged many shapes in the aurora and I will admit, my imagination is pretty good. I took this image in 2017 while the aurora was bouncing from one horizon to the other.
